Job Shadowing Reflection

1.) I learned that I couldve spoke louder and make eye contact with the audience. I also learned that I shouldve made the slide where people can see the words.

2.) I think I did ok I didn’t do the best I think I couldve put more effort into it.  My slide where good there were just sertain slide that where dark so people couldn’t see them.

3.)  I feel like I could make more eye contact with the audience my next presentation. I also feel like I could talk louder so they can here me.

4.) I could have focused more instead of talking to others around me. I wouldve done better if i was shy to speak infront of the class.

5.) I wish that I wouldve done better to get a better grade. If i could present my presentation again I wouldn’t be goofing around with the people around me. Now that I have reflected on my presentation, I feel more confidence that I’ll do better next time.

WOMEN IN COMBAT

What is your social issue? Women should not be in combat
Why is it such a social issue? What do people disagree about in relation to this topic? The womens can get hurt bad or either die, people disagree because they say womens are not as physically capable as men for combat.
What is your proposed solution? Why do you think this is the best solution? I think this is the best solution because mans are stronger then womens and if they get in some real action they might not no what to do and get hurt males are use to doing hard work so they will be prepared and no what to do.

What are pros to your solution? I just think womens should just stay at home take care of there children or get a job were they gone be safe.
What are cons to your solution? I don’t think womens should fight in combat they should just leave that to the males.

WOMEN IN COMBAT

I see that 84% of the whites says yes the military should allow womens to serve in combat roles and 16% yes no they should not allow them to serve in combat roles. In chicago 91% say yes and 9% say no, some people say yes because as long as they can pass the same physical testes as men and yes preventing women from serving in combat roles in discriminatory. Looking at the no side people say that womens are not as physically cabable as men for combat, it also says to that men are more likely to risk the success of a mission in order to protect a women from danger. They say no combat roles place women in a high risk situation for sexual assault. A number of arguments have been raised in defense of military policy that bans women from combat roles. Women served in the military since the Revolutionary War when they worked as nurses, water bearers, cooks, laundresses and saboteurs, and they have served in some capacity ever since. In the Civil War women disguised themselves as men to serve in combat. There are several other countries already allow womens to serve in combat units. The fear of women having to serve and die in combat positions helped defeat the Equal Rights Amendment in 1982. / www.isidewith.com/poll/1613615491
